Artist Bio

Odysseas Pappas is a sculptor born in Saranda in 1967. He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts of Tirana in 1992 with the degree of Monumental Sculptor. In 1995 he established his atelier in Athens, Greece and has since created works of art that have been part of exhibitions, personal collections while others have been placed in public spaces. As a member of the Chamber of Fine Arts of Greece since the same year he has won multiple awards in the competitions the organization has hosted.

 

He lives and works in Borås, Sweden from 2016 and has had since then multiple exhibitions and artistic activities in Sweden. He is now member of Swedish professional organisations such as KRO, Skulpturförbundet and others.

His works cover a wide spectrum of materials and styles. Materials such as marble, bronze and wood have been a staple for his inspirations, although more modernized materials are not out of bounds.
